QCPD urges public to visit its official website

With its operation in full swing, Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director PCSUPT MAGTANGGOL B GATDULA called on the public to visit its official website at www.qcpd.pnp.gov.ph.

PCSUPT GATDULA said we encourage the general public to access QCPD’s website and find for themselves useful and helpful information or acquaint themselves of service guides, avail downloadable forms and other online service apart from being informed on the administrative and operational accomplishments of their policemen.

Similarly, the public is enjoined to register at and participate in the QCPD Blog Site and post comments, complaints against abusive cops or PNP personnel. Through this, we hope to extend better assistance to the community. Suggestions are also welcomed in the blog site or even at the on-line help desk that would further enhance police-community service, Gatdula said.

Perhaps, the first District in the entire NCRPO to go on ‘paperless communication’ through internet access, it can be recalled that QCPD launched its official website sometime in January of 2008 aimed at reducing consumption of office supplies.

Information Technology (IT) officers led by PSI Ma. Regina Fider conduct regular training for website administrators from every unit and offices and down to the eleven police stations to keep abreast on working thru ‘paperless communication’ which now pays off, added the newly promoted District Director.
